£5.5 billion

Liverpool, Merseyside

2020 – 2030 (Ongoing)

Our Role

We’re proud to be supporting Peel Land & Property in the delivery of Liverpool Waters – one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe. As CDM Client Advisor, we’re working across all aspects of the programme to embed safety and assurance into the heart of this major transformation. From design risk reviews to site inspections and strategic policy development, we’re helping to make sure the scheme progresses safely and in line with Peel’s wider vision for the waterfront.

Project Activities and Initiatives

Liverpool Waters covers over 120 hectares of dockland and will deliver:

Over 10,000 new homes

400,000 sqm of hospitality, commercial and retail space

A new cruise terminal and ferry terminal

A conference centre and waterside amenities

A site-wide domestic heat network

A new home for Everton Football Club

To support delivery across this complex and diverse programme, we’ve introduced several tools and initiatives:

HARM Zero

Our digital risk management suite supports communication and visibility across multiple project teams. It captures site risks in real time and presents them via a live dashboard to Peel’s board.

Regular Site Inspections

We work directly with Peel on the ground, reviewing site activity and boundaries to feed up-to-date insights into project risk registers.

Contractors Handbook

Developed to clearly communicate Peel’s expectations on safe working practices across all contractors and stakeholders.

Atelier Design Collective

We support Peel in their strategic design review process, ensuring that health and safety considerations are integral to every design proposal.

Estate-Wide Water Safety Strategy

We’ve developed a bespoke Water Safety Policy for Peel, covering all waterside assets as part of a long-term commitment to public safety.

The Results (Ongoing)
