Our Role

We’ve been involved in the transformation of MediaCityUK from the outset and continue to provide ongoing support to Peel Media as the development evolves. Our team is currently delivering Client CDM Advisor and Principal Designer Advisor services across various phases of work, helping to manage construction safety risks and ensure compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

Project Activities & Initiatives

MediaCityUK is one of the most significant regeneration projects in the UK. It has transformed a former dockland site into a thriving mixed-use destination, home to major broadcasters including the BBC and ITV, as well as creative, tech, and education providers. The development includes purpose-built residential towers, studios, office buildings, retail and leisure spaces, and critical infrastructure such as a tri-generation energy centre and pedestrian bridge.

We continue to support landlord Category A fit-outs and infrastructure improvements, ensuring safety is embedded in all aspects of the design and construction process.

The Results (Ongoing)

MediaCityUK is now a globally recognised media and digital hub. Our continued involvement reflects the strong, trusted relationship we’ve built with Peel Media over the years.

“Safer Sphere have successfully carried out CDM services for me on a range of projects at MediaCityUK. They continue to maintain a high level of service due to their conscientious and proactive approach, and I look forward to working with them on future projects.”
