We’re supporting Therme Group with the delivery of Therme Manchester – the UK’s first city-based wellbeing resort. Acting as both Principal Designer and Client CDM Assurance Advisor, we’re working to ensure that health and safety is fully integrated throughout the design and construction process of this landmark development.
Planning permission for the scheme was approved by Trafford MBC in September 2023. Once complete, the resort will feature a wide range of wellness-focused attractions, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, water slides, warm lagoons, multi-sensory saunas, and spaces for water-based fitness and therapeutic treatments.
Designed as a destination for all ages, the resort will also include botanical gardens, immersive art, educational spaces, and even urban farming zones – all underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability and wellbeing.
Therme Manchester is expected to deliver over £4.5 billion in economic value to the UK and will set a new standard for urban wellbeing destinations. By embedding safety and compliance from the outset, we’re helping to bring this ambitious, health-led vision to life.
