We’re working with Ask Patrizia Real Estate to support the safe delivery of a major mixed-use campus at First Street, one of Manchester’s most exciting regeneration schemes. Acting as CDM Client Advisor and Principal Designer Advisor, we’ve been involved from the early planning stages through to construction, helping ensure the project meets its design risk management and regulatory responsibilities.
Our team has supported the development of Plot 8 – a nine-storey, 130,900 sq ft office building – now successfully handed over to the Government Property Agency for fit-out. Once open, the space will bring together around 2,600 civil servants under one roof, boosting the area’s economic and civic profile.
Building on this success, we’re continuing our support on Plots 9a and 10a. Plot 9a is set to become a new Government Hub offering 130,900 sq ft of high-specification, flexible office space. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building targets net zero carbon and includes integrated winter gardens, rooftop terraces, and significant public realm improvements.
With BAM UK & Ireland completing construction on time for Plot 8, the project is well on track to meet its next milestones. Our ongoing involvement is helping maintain consistent safety standards across the wider First Street development, contributing to a dynamic, sustainable new space in the heart of Manchester.
