Safer Sphere is supporting a student residential refurbishment and extension over 18m in height located in Bristol City Centre.
Safer Sphere is supporting on the development of this project to repurpose the former South Plaza office block on Marlborough Street, now known as 360 Bristol, into a £100m student scheme.
Planning has been submitted to transform the redundant office building to provide 370 purpose built student housing rooms with state of the art facilities.
The scheme will include fully serviced fitness and wellbeing facilities including a gymnasium with contemporary changing rooms, yoga studios and spinning room.
The conversion will also include communal study areas, a screening room, golf simulator, café and 370 secure bike storage spaces – one for each student – as part of a zero-student car strategy.
The proposed new ground-floor front extension will have a green roof, as part of plans to bring planting and biodiversity into the public realm.
The scheme is part of Melburg’s ongoing commitment to achieving operational carbon neutrality.
