Safer Sphere announces new Chairman and Managing Director

Mike Forsyth has today stepped into a new role as Chairman of Safer Sphere. As part of this carefully planned development to the management structure, Mike hands over day-to-day responsibility for Safer Sphere to Lewis Duff, who steps up from Director, into the Managing Director role.

With Safer Sphere celebrating ten successful years in business late last year, having grown to over 25 permanent members of staff and circa £2.5m turnover, we saw this as the perfect milestone opportunity to allow Mike take the next logical step. The new role will see Mike dedicate just as much time and effort to the business as before, but with more focus toward setting and maintaining the strategic direction for Safer Sphere’s next ten years.

Lewis Duff is a Safer Sphere success story himself, joining the business exactly 6 years ago and quickly rising from CDM Consultant to Board Member with overall responsibility for Business Development and the northern region delivery.

It was seen as the perfect fit to harness Lewis’ energy and expertise in this more senior role that could see him continue to build upon his robust management skills, and  the nurturing of a number of successful strategic client partnerships. Elsewhere, Richard Procter steps up to Board Director in charge of Southern Operations whilst Jonathan King remains as Board Director North.

We hope you join us in toasting Safer Sphere’s success and wishing Mike, Lewis & Richard the very best in their new roles!
