Safer Sphere is proud to announce that Bless Mititelu has recently been certified as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA). As the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Coordinator at the North London Heat and Power Project, Mary-Bless plays a crucial role in collaboration with some of Safer Sphere’s partners, including Arup, Taylor Woodrow, and ACCIONA, to prioritise mental health awareness in our workplaces.
Safer Sphere is a proud signatory of the Mental Health at Work Commitment, and we have introduced first aiders as a part of our wellbeing strategy. We recognise the vital role they play in promoting a positive work environment.
Mary-Bless shared her insight into why she chose to take the role: “I have encountered many people experiencing mental health issues, both at and outside work. Sadly, not all have received the help they needed, and the outcomes for them have not been good. I needed to be more knowledgeable about mental health to understand and perhaps help when needed.”
