Safer Sphere has been awarded the ISO 45001 certification following a rigorous assessment across its operations in the UK.
ISO 45001 is the international standard that cites requirements for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems. The standard has been created to raise the bar for health and safety in the workplace and provides companies with a framework that will elevate the importance of OH&S on the corporate agenda.
Safer Sphere is proud to adopt this standard, further highlighting our commitment to continual improvement and health and safety in the workplace. Since Safer Sphere was awarded the ISO 9001 certification in 2023, it has successfully achieved the relevant standards developed by ISO for its quality, environmental and health and safety management systems.
The ISO 45001 standard will encourage Safer Sphere employees to take a prominent role in creating a healthier and safer working environment. This will, in turn, increase business efficiencies by reducing downtime due to accidents or any negative impact to the health and wellbeing of its workforce.
Lewis Duff, MD of Safer Sphere said:
“The safety and wellbeing of our people and everyone we engage with in our business is our number one priority. Focusing on continual improvement is central to remaining at the forefront of the industry we serve, and securing the new ISO 45001 certification is an important milestone in our journey.”
