We’re working with Latimer Developments to support the delivery of one of the UK’s first high-rise new-build schemes to progress through the Building Safety Act’s Gateway Two. Acting as Principal Designer under the Building Regulations and as Client Building Safety Advisor, our team is helping the project meet enhanced safety standards introduced under the new legislation.
Our involvement has included guiding the design team through the updated regulatory process, providing clear, practical advice to secure Gateway Two approval from the Building Safety Regulator. We’ve worked closely with the client and wider team to embed safety at every stage, aligning the design with modern fire safety principles and structural integrity requirements.
The Dyecoats scheme is now one of the first high-rise new-build developments in the UK to achieve Gateway Two approval – a key milestone under the Building Safety Act. The project is set to transform a disused site into a sustainable urban village, complete with high-rise residential buildings, social spaces, and commercial units – all built with future safety and community in mind.
