Safer Sphere is proud to announce the launch of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Group to mark the end of Black History Month and Global Diversity Awareness Month.
Instead of merely marking the calendar month, we’ve wanted to use this occasion as a catalyst for cultivating a more inclusive, diverse, and equal work environment — laying the foundation for our new EDI action group.
We’ve established an EDI policy and implemented a proactive action plan to reinforce our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. In this journey, we’ve made four resolute commitments towards EDI, perfectly aligned with our C.A.R.E values – Competence, Ambition, Relationship, and Excellence. These manifest as Competence in Inclusivity, Ambitious Advocacy, Building Relational Bridges, and Pursuing Excellence through Inclusion.
At Safer Sphere, the C.A.R.E values are not merely acronyms; they’re foundational principles that steer our decisions and drive our business forward.
“A shared commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion can contribute immensely to strengthening an organisation. Our goal is to create a more inclusive workplace by working together with colleagues from all backgrounds, developing and implementing an action plan based on our EDI policy,” says Richard Procter, Director at Safer Sphere.
